When cards are turned in, the player receives a number of armies. The first set turned in by any player is worth five armies, and subsequent sets may increase in value.

If you select 5, 5, 5, 5, ..., sets are always worth five armies. Game play proceeds relatively slowly.

If you select 5, 6, 7, 8, ..., each set is worth one more army than the last. This is the default setting.

If you select 5, 10, 15, 20, ..., each set is worth five more armies than the last. Game play proceeds relatively quickly.
