The game window

The game window consists of a photo-realistic map of countries. The built-in world map has 42 countries. You may also select other maps from the Map menu.

Countries have different colors depending on the player who owns them. A country that is selected has a more opaque color and a shadow. The number of armies in a country is shown in a colored dot. Countries that have no dot have no armies in them.

Countries are adjacent to one another if they share a border or are connected by a black line. Lines can connect via opposite sides of the map. For example, in the built-in world map Alaska is considered adjacent to Kamchatka.

The names and colors of the players are displayed at the bottom left of the window. The number in the player's colored dot shows the number of cards that player has. The current player is listed first. Players are removed from the list as they are eliminated.
